Conclusion

We have to get people into congress that are looking out for our best interest. We need to flood our representatives with calls, complaining about the bill. Of course, i am not sure how well that would work, I mean we are one of the states that appealed it. This will be an interesting battle that we should all be a part of.
I just want to say, ranting about this health care nonsense has not been the greatest thing. the more I find out, the more I get pissed about it. the thing is, it needs to be done. We need to know what congress is doing and stop them when we don't agree. It's like one JFK said in his inaugural speech, "Ask not what your county can do for you, ask what you can do for your country." is this the country you want your children in? I know I don't. I want my kids to grow up without trillions of dollars of government debt, I want them to not have to get a fine for no health care, I want them to make their own money and learn to provide for themselves, and I don't want my children thinking the government will give them everything.
WE need to get the people out of congress who don't think they have to listen to us. that is just stupid! Like the Duke once said "Life is hard, it's even harder when your stupid." Lets vote stupid out of congress

What Do We Do?

I really don't even know how to say this, but we are royally screwed! Just with this administration we have quadrupled the deficit, pretty sure thats not good at all. This administration has spent more money in a year and a half than what has been spent since this country first started. Why do I talk about the money spent do you ask? Well, because the current health bill is spending more of the American people's money.
I really doubt that anyone wants EVEN MORE of their money spent, but hey, I'm just saying. Why would anyone want this bill? Oh, I forgot, if the new immigration bill passes, then every illegal immigrant will get free health care! How wonderful for them! But, just so you know, we pay for it.
I really want to find something good about this bill. I have tried, but all I can find is earmarks that have nothing to do with health care, bad ideas that will cost the American people, and a whole lot of other nasty things that shouldn't be there. PLEASE! If someone has something good to say then tell me, I would really love to hear it.

Here is a video thats leaked out. Its from CNN, apparently. I got it in an E-mail. http://d.yimg.com/kq/groups/17260182/1610997888/name/ftc-vi26.wmv

How Much More Can Go Wrong?

Okay, so I heard some disturbing news today. You know how Obama promised that the illegal immigrants won't get health care? Well, did he mention the new immigration bill? The administration would like to grant amnesty to illegal immigrants. Thats right amnesty for around 12 million illegal immigrants (closer to 20 million). Wow! I don't even know what to say to that one. I mean, yes these illegal immigrants do the jobs that we won't, and for less pay, but is giving them amnesty really helping the American people? Seriously, think about this. There are around 12 million illegal immigrants, that we know of, working in America right now. So, that is 12 million, or more, jobs that the American people could have.
Our unemployment is at 10%, but that is only counting the 10% thats still looking. If you count the people who have given up the search, unemployment has reached closer to 20%. Now, if 12 million jobs opened up, wouldn't that help slightly with unemployment? But enough of that, we are talking about health care! Did you know that the current administration in trying to push immigration amnesty before the next election? Do you wonder why this is being done? I sure don't. Think of how many that will have health care that we pay for if that happens! 12 million more people to pay for. YAY!
So, there are over 10 states, including the great state of Utah, that have decided to go against congress. their reason? They argue that the new health care is unconstitutional. They say that congress cannot force people to have health care. The people who don't want this bill want congress to realize that it is congress' job to protect the people's rights, NOT GRANT THEM.
Well, health care passed, but my question is, will the immigration bill? And if it does, how much damage will that do? And will it save the approval rating of the administration? Just so you know, President obama is at about 40% approval, Biden is around 20%, and Pelosi is at 12%. It should be interesting to see where this goes.
