What Health Care Offers Now

You could be paying for your neighbors health care. A health care bill that is said to be "universal" or "socialized" is simply saying whoever can pay for health care will pay for everyone's health care.
On CNN there was a story about the debate that is going on in Congress. "In the greatest country on earth, no American should die simply because they don't have health insurance," said Sen. Max Baucus of Montana, one of the bill's architects.
Now I completely agree that every AMerican deserves to have health care but why just give it away? Haven't these people learned the saying, "give a man a fish and he has food for a day. Teach a man to fish, he has food for a life time." Everyone deserves health care but why should the people that are actually working pay for those that don't?
The thing that would be good to look at is all of the Medicare fraud. Millions of dollars are lost to the American people. If they are going to spend the money on wasting our time, why not spend it on saving us at least a little bit of money. Take some of the money they are already spending and pay people to investigate the Medicare fraud.

The Begining

My name is Bailey, I want to discuss health care. I will talk about how health care is now, cost, availability, coverage, that sort of thing. I will also talk about the government's plan to change health care. I will give up dates on what congress is doing about it, and analyze all of it.
