New Plan!

So the first reform ended up getting shut down, but does that stop people from keep trying? No, recently a new proposal has been released. If you wish to look at it, go to http://www.whitehouse.gov/health-care-meeting/proposal. It basically says that this plan is better, but it doesn't really describe how it is better. It really doesn't tell the people how the plan will work or what we will be paying into it. The plan says it will provide its largest tax cut to the middle class. But I want to know, how that is supposed to work, because the middle class is who pays for most of the taxes. It's the middle class that makes up most of this country, how is it possible for them to not pay as much or more than everyone else.

Anyway, back to health care. A good thing that the new plan says it will do is give millions of Americans the same insurance choices that some of congress gets......wait a minute! Does that mean we will pay for it too? Besides, how do I, an average American, learn and know that i will get the same as some guy in congress? Sounds pretty iffy to me.

I'm not trying to sound like I don't want people to have health care, because I think it would be awesome if we all got it. But I don't believe in giving people a free ride just because they can't or won't get their own stuff. I believe in the quote "If you give a man a fish, he can eat for a day. But if you teach a man to fish, you can feed him for a lifetime." Why not teach people how to take care of themselves so we can all live a lifetime.
